Vehicle Gas ECU: The Brain of Bi-fuel Conversion System

Sep 09, 2026 Leave a message

The gas ECU is the control center of the bi-fuel system. It reads the original engine sensor signals and calculates the proper gas injection time and volume.

There are two main types: semi-sequential and full sequential ECUs. Full sequential ECU matches engine firing order precisely and delivers smoother driving experience.

The gas ECU works together with gas injector rail and lambda sensor. Improper calibration will cause high gas consumption, shaking or check engine light warning.

Different ECU firmware supports different car models. For Russian and Eastern European markets, firmware versions with cold start optimization are available. Only professional technicians can finish ECU calibration after installation.
