Safety Rules for CNG Vehicle Gas Conversion

Sep 09, 2026 Leave a message

CNG conversion uses 200 bar high-pressure natural gas, which is flammable. All installation work must be completed by certified professional technicians.

Check all high-pressure pipelines, joints and valves regularly for gas leakage. Use soapy water for leak detection; never use open flame. CNG cylinders have fixed service life. Once expired, the cylinder must be scrapped and cannot be refilled. After vehicle collision, the entire gas system needs comprehensive inspection.

Do not idle the car for a long time in a closed garage under gas mode. Any abnormal smell or pressure drop should stop operation immediately.

Distributors and installers must inform end users of safety precautions before handover.
