What Is Autogas Gas ECU? Core Function for CNG LPG Conversion System
Gas ECU (Autogas Electronic Control Unit) acts as the brain of the CNG / LPG dual-fuel conversion system. Many new retrofit technicians confuse autogas gas ECU with original gasoline engine ECU. They are totally different components.
The autogas gas ECU collects engine working signals in real time, controls gas injection volume, manages petrol-gas fuel switching, and works with OBD system to realize closed-loop adjustment. It solves common retrofit problems: unstable idle speed, engine shaking, power drop and false OBD fault codes after gas conversion.
The main functions of gas ECU include:
1.Real-time monitoring of engine working parameters
2.Accurate control of gas injection timing and gas supply
3.Smooth automatic switch between gasoline and autogas
4.OBD closed-loop diagnosis, reading and clearing fault codes
5.Parameter calibration to adapt to different vehicle models and climates
For Russia and Middle East markets, gas ECU needs special optimization. In cold regions, the ECU program must guarantee stable fuel switching under low temperature. In high-temperature areas, hardware must have good heat resistance and anti-interference ability.
Our XBT series gas ECU is independently developed and manufactured. It supports OBD closed-loop function, stable performance for 4-cylinder gasoline engine CNG & LPG conversion. We also provide technical debugging support for overseas modification workshops.
