Precise Fuel Injection Control By The Engine Control Unit

Jun 15, 2026 Leave a message

Fuel injection is crucial for engine combustion, and the ECU acts as the "commander." Based on parameters such as intake air volume, engine speed, and load, it precisely calculates the fuel injection quantity and timing for each operating cycle. When the vehicle starts, the engine temperature is low, and the ECU appropriately increases the fuel injection quantity to help the engine start smoothly and quickly warm up to normal operating temperature.

When the vehicle is traveling at high speed, the engine load is high, and the ECU adjusts the fuel injection strategy according to the actual situation, increasing the fuel injection quantity to meet the engine's power demands and ensure that the vehicle has sufficient power for overtaking, climbing hills, and other scenarios.
